About The Event
Duration 2 hours, distance 2.5 miles. Graded Easy/Moderate.
During the walk the history behind various buildings and landmarks will be explained, and historic photographs will be shown.
Route – along the High Street and Elm Road, down Church Lane to Stonehouse Court Manor (now a hotel). Then a visit to St Cyr’s Church with an opportunity to go up the tower. On to Midland Railway Viaduct and back to Stonehouse Court.
Stay there for tea or walk directly back up Church Lane to car park.
Refreshments available at Stonehouse Court.
