Haresfield Beacon and wonderful views
The walk left Stonehouse at 10am with 32 walkers, led by Neil and back marked by Ken. On a gloriously sunny morning they set off to walk past Maidenhill and Standish Park Farm through fields to Haresfield Beacon where they enjoyed lunch and the views of the Severn Vale. The return journey was through Standish woods and back along the Cotswold Way to the vineyard and railway line before returning to Stonehouse High Street. The route was approx 8 miles and the last of the longer walks of the Festival.
There are three walks available tomorrow - 11am History Walk; 2pm The Trees of Stonehouse and 6.30pm Dusk to Dark.
