About The Walk
A circular, environmental walk west from Fromebridge Mill, beyond the 'Missing Mile' section, all the way to Saul Junction. We will cover the fish pass, the River Frome, a new wetlands area, canal restoration, water voles, a traditional orchard, and more. You will learn how the canal environmental programme is improving the habits, wetlands, and biodiversity along the canal and the vision for the new wetlands area and walks at Fromebridge.
- 4.5 miles, easy
- Well-behaved dogs welcome.
- Free return shuttle buses at 9am & 9.30am from Stonehouse. Donations to cover costs welcome.
- Option to meet at Fromebridge Mill (GL2 7PB) at 10:00 for start of walk.
