About The Walk
Following on from the success of last years event, on the 7th and 8th September Stroudwater Navigation Archive Charity will be holding another ‘Ghosthunters’, this will be held as part of the Heritage Open Days programme
.
Guests will do a short walk from Stonehouse Court Hotel to Ryeford along the towpath, on the way they will meet ‘ghosts’ who tell their stories from the Stroudwater Canal’s past.
- The event is best suited to those aged 8 and upwards
- The tow path is suitable for wheelchairs
- Walks are on the hour from 11am until 3pm - last walk ends at 4pm
