About The Walk
Duration: 1.5 - 2 hours, Distance: 1.5 miles, Graded: Easy / Moderate.
During the walk the history behind various buildings and landmarks will be explained and photos shown. The route is along the upper High Street to the 200 year old Globe Inn and the Town Green. Back along the High Street, up Queens Road to Burdett Road, to the Railway Station. Continuing back along the Bath Road to the town car park.
Sunday lunch can be booked in advance of the walk at La Campagna - Italian restaurant in the High Street.
