About The Walk
We will explain the history of the Ship Inn. In Bridgend we will pass the ancient mill site of Upper Mills, and walk alongside the River Frome to Lower Mills. We continue over Nutshell Bridge, past St Cyr’s Church and Stonehouse Court to the Stroudwater Canal with its various bridges. We’ll return along the canal towpath to the Ship Inn Community Space. During the walk the guides will explain the history behind various buildings and landmarks, and show historic photographs.
Toilet available at St Cyr's.
