About The Walk
A leisurely circular walk to Stanley Downton via Nutshell Bridge, crossing the Ocean to the farmlands beyond the River Frome, continuing past the weir and railway viaduct. We then return through fields and amongst a flock of sheep. We'll pass historic (yet active) mills, the canal and some lovely countryside.
Expect a few stiles and kissing gates. Fields may be muddy, so please wear waterproof shoes/boots.
Enjoy refreshments on the Ship Inn Community Space from 10.30, before or after the walk (not included).
No dogs please.
