About The Walk
We will meet at Stonehouse Community Centre then head straight down to the canal past St Cyrs Church. On the walk you will hear about old and more recent canal history as well as future plans, plus answers to questions like:
Why does the Ocean even exist? Why are 8 houses called Newtown? Why Blunder Lock? Why are Forest Green Rovers a ‘dead good team’?
- Well-behaved dogs on a lead are allowed but not advisable as the towpath can be narrow.
