About The Walk
Duration: 3 hours, Distance: 3 miles, Graded: Easy/moderate.
The first half of this walk is flat, the second part goes up to and through Doverow Woods with some stiles. The walk will first explore some of the interesting trees around the centre of Stonehouse, discussing the social, environmental and economic benefits that urban trees can deliver. Then we will go through the fields behind Stonehouse and into Doverow Woods, looking at trees in a woodland setting and in the wider environmental context.
