About The Walk
A tour of the Stonehouse Community Arboretum.
On this walk, local arboriculturist and founder of the Stonehouse Community Arboretum John Parker will give a tour of the trees around St Cyr's Church, Stonehouse Court Hotel and the Ocean and we will also include the Ship Inn Community Space and trees along the old railway line between there and the bypass.
We will discuss the importance of trees to people and nature, and some of the social history of trees and green spaces in Stonehouse.
This walk goes from the car park of Stonehouse Court Hotel
