What an amazing early morning we had last year watching birds having their rings put on. It's great to know how much we learn from being able to monitor their movements across the globe since all the information is uploaded worldwide. We were also shown how rough ages are calculated and wings are measured. All the birds were released and after the demo, a group of us finished off the morning with a very pleasant walk across the fields to Eastington and back.
